Products are accepted for processing in appropriate, sealed secondary packages (cartons, drums or bags) so that such packages can be accommodated in aluminum product boxes having inner dimensions of (600 mm (L) × 450 mm (W) × 1100 mm (H)). Each aluminum product box is designed to carry a maximum weight of 150 kg.
The secondary package should be clearly identified with appropriate labelling.
Product weight up to 17 Kgs (Bulk Density up to 0.2 g/cc) in carton dimension (590 × 430 × 340 mm) shall be processed as per Microtrol latest plant Re-Commissioning Dosimetry for medical devices parameter, for non-validated customers and parameter for validated customer as per their report.
Bulk product packed in bags (Bulk Density up to 0.5 g/cc) shall be processed as per Microtrol latest plant Re-Commissioning Dosimetry for spice product parameter.
MICROTROL shall affix labels indicating along with radiation indicator button details such as date of receipt and date of completion of processing of the product on each secondary package.
Delivery / collection of consignment at / from MICROTROL are customer’s responsibility.
MICROTROL reserves the right to refuse accepting any consignments for radiation processing for reasons such as: damaged or improper packaging, visibly unhygienic, hazardous to the facility, etc. The decision of MICROTROL in this regard will be binding on the customer.
For inspection / testing purpose, MICROTROL has authority to open any package received for radiation processing.
MICROTROL guarantees the minimum radiation dose to the product as desired by the customer. Product, quality, sterility and radiation compatibility rests with the customer.
MICROTROL is not responsible for any damage caused by radiation processing to customer’s product due to improper choice of materials used in the product or packaging. The customer is advised to consult MICROTROL regarding suitability and compatibility of material for radiation processing.
The delivery date indicated should be further confirmed before arranging collection of processed products.
Payment towards service charges shall be made by DD / at par cheque drawn in favour of “MICROTROL Sterilisation Services Pvt. Ltd”, payable at Bengaluru, at the time of collection of processed material.
